About

I hope you enjoy my poems.

Ben Truesdale

Acknowledgments

I’m heavily influenced by the yoga teachings of Juliet Glavey, who brought light to my life, but has sadly passed away. I’m also greatly inspired by the silence of Mother Meera, the pointings of Mooji and the wisdom of Sadhguru.

Lately, I’ve been exploring non-duality through the teachings of Rupert Spira and Francis Lucille.

  1. I was looking on the intermet for some information about distilled water and I bumped into your poems. I am not a poetry person but I found your writings inspiring. I feel blessed and honoured to have been led to find you. I am so grateful also……

  2. Hi Ben,

This past week I took on the FIve Photos Five Stories Challenge… it’s turned out to be a great experience. On five consecutive days, post a photograph each day and tell a story about it. Fact or fiction. Prose or poetry.

Also, on each day, nominate another blogger to take the challenge.

Today was day 4 for me, and I posted Writing Desks I Have Known, in which I nominated you, my friend. 🙂

No pressure to take it on, or not. I do hope the challenge will bring your writing places you haven’t gone before, as it has with mine, so far.

In any case, I would love to see our beautiful way with words applied to it.

    Namaste!

  3. Great to see you fulfilling your potential…..

Let me know if you want to spend any of your radical sabbatical on the South Coast.

    With love,

    Stu.

    1. Thanks Mary. You’re right I’ll remedy that soonish! I live in Oxford, UK. I used to be in hotel management but have had a year off. Now I do some freelance hospitality consultancy and other odds and ends. I think my poems speak to what I love and what inspires me. Hope that helps. Regards Ben
